As Secretary Blinken prepares to visit the region, Israel goes on a killing spree

Dear Friend,

This week, Israeli forces killed at least 10 Palestinians in Jenin, including an elderly woman. The raid was one of Israel's deadliest in years. This incident is not an exception: at least 30 Palestinians, including at least five children, have been killed by Israeli forces since the new Israeli government took office a few weeks ago.

The Israeli government is hell-bent on amping up violence against the Palestinian people. Instead of taking this opportunity to hold the Israeli government accountable, President Biden has directed members of his National Security Council to assist their Israeli counterparts in light of today’s attack in Jerusalem. Contact President Biden now and demand he condemns the Israeli government’s violence immediately and ensure no U.S. weapons or military aid is contributing to its crimes against Palestinians.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken is heading to the region this week and he’s planning to meet with the new Israeli government. Rather than meeting with the new Israeli government to promote normalization with Saudi Arabia, this administration should immediately suspend US military aid to Israel and initiate a comprehensive investigation into its violation of Palestinian human rights. Clearly, Israel’s actions are only causing more suffering, displacement, and ethnic cleansing.

Click here to send an email to President Biden now! Demand he boycotts and condemns the new far-right Israeli government.

In solidarity,

Ayah Ziyadeh
