Help welcome the newest member of our team!

Dear Friend,

Today, in fulfilling our promise to further expand our reach, and as part of AMP's continuous efforts to diversify its domestic and international media presence, we are proud to announce the hiring of Abderrahmane Amor, now serving as AMP's Media Director!

AMP has worked tirelessly to educate journalists, producers, and writers on Palestinian rights and the illegal occupation. Building on our previous successes, we look to expand our efforts and entrench the truth about Palestine across media outlets. It is in this spirit that we announce our newest hire, AMP Media Director, Abderrahmane Amor.

Abderrahmane is a human rights activist, journalist, and political commentator, holding a Bachelors in International Relations and Islamic Studies from The Ohio State University and a Masters in Comparative Politics and International Relations from Texas Tech University. In 2016, Abderrahmane worked on the Bernie Sanders for President campaign as a field organizer in Brooklyn, NY. He is the former Manager of the Freedom First campaign, where he led the effort to educate Hollywood and Silicon Valley on Saudi whitewashing efforts. Now, he publishes regularly across international news outlets at the intersection of US foreign policy and MENA authoritarianism.

As the tide shifts in support of Palestinians within the US, it’s crucial that we continue to build and maintain a strong presence within American media in order to take control of our narrative, and American Muslims for Palestine is dedicated to doing that.

We're happy to share this amazing news with you, and it's only with your support that we can take the work for Palestine to new heights!

Be a part of our growth. Be a part of the Palestinian cause. Visit us at ampalestine.org and give for Palestine!

Sincerely,

Dr. Osama Abuirshaid
