#GivingTuesday for Gaza

#GivingTuesday 2023 is here and it couldn’t have come at a more crucial moment. The past 53 days have been some of the most devastating and destructive events in Palestine since 1967. But in these past 7 weeks, we’ve seen the movement for Palestine achieve things that could have never been imagined before. Millions of people across the globe have joined our movement, making clear to governments, international institutions, and the media that justice for Palestine is inevitable, it’s just a matter of time.

For years, AMP has worked to advance the movement for justice in Palestine here in America. That’s why when this crisis began, we already knew where to start.

Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to:

Intensive Advocacy:

Palestine Advocacy Days, comprising nearly 200 meetings with Congressional offices urging elected officials to support a ceasefire and advocate for humanitarian aid to Gaza.
Action alerts generating over 150,000 calls and emails to Members of Congress, urging action against Israel’s atrocities toward Gaza.
Calling campaigns nationwide demanding an immediate ceasefire.
Lobbying Members of Congress to endorse the "Ceasefire Now" Resolution.
Palestine advocacy training to educate local communities on civic engagement.

Raising Awareness & Education:

Media presence on major outlets BBC, CNN, CBS, and more, shedding light on Israel’s atrocities and Gaza's plight.
Digital media team's impactful social media campaigns and continuous updates on the ongoing situation in Gaza.
Educational events, both online and in-person, dispelling misinformation and inspiring action across the United States for Gaza.

Community Mobilization:

National Imam’s meeting guiding discussions on the situation in Gaza.
Billboard campaigns across the country to raise awareness on Israel’s atrocities toward Gaza.
Successfully hosted the AMP National Convention in Chicago, which drew thousands to learn and grow together.
Protests and rallies in major cities nationwide, showcasing the power of unity and determination.

Despite the ongoing genocide, the people of Gaza remain resilient. And just as they stand strong, we need to as well. The US is the most important arena after occupied Palestine to defend Palestinian rights and bring about positive change. That’s why we need your help today.
