On Thursday, August 26 in Washington DC, President Biden is scheduled to meet with the new Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, who is arguably even more extreme than his predecessor, Benjamin Netanyahu. While there has been a change in the Israeli government, there’s been no change in Israel’s systematic policies of apartheid, persecution, and settler-colonial violence against the Palestinian people.
Having a new prime minister in Israel has not changed or ended the human rights abuses against the Palestinian people. The United States must put an end to aiding and abetting Israel’s oppression of the Palestinian people.
Sign this petition now and help us call on President Biden to stand by his administration’s vow to protect human rights across the globe, which necessitates centering the voices of those most impacted - in this case, the Palestinian people.
